The Breakfast Edition

Mornings are pretty rudimentary in the Brinker house.  Every morning I wake up and make Sarai coffee in our french press.  Every morning.  7 days a week, 365 days a year.  I follow the typical recommendations: pour hot water, wait 30 seconds, stir, wait 4-8 minutes, and press.  I have figured out the perfect amount of beans to add to the grinder for perfection. My woman likes her coffee likes she likes her men: strong.

Oliver also has things down to an art without much variance.  He requests oats with great regularity.

He can now put in his own brown sugar which he insists on tamping down in a uniform layer over the oats before he pours in the correct amount of Half & Half.  He hits a perfect runny consistency more often than not.

A full bowl of oats lasts about 2 minutes, he eats like a resident. He gets that bowl clean too:
