Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods, Santa Rosa, Little Star Pizza

Today we got up and headed north along Highway 101 to visit the Golden Gate Bridge and the Muir Woods National Monument.

On the way out of San Francisco you can view the bridge from the West side.

And on the way back you can view the bridge from the East

After working up an appetite we headed north for Santa Rosa to let Dad visit the Russian River Brewing Company, a brewery that should be on the top of any beer connoisseur’s list.

There I enjoyed a flight of beers, including Pliny the Elder, the kids ate pizza and grilled cheese while Sarai and Anne enjoyed salads.

In the evening after Craig finished clinic we trekked through town to enjoy deep dish pizza at Little Star Pizza.
