Mother’s Day this year consisted of what Sarai wants each year: to sleep in and receive breakfast and coffee. So this year I made migas, a fruit parfait, and coffee with splenda and half and half.
In the afternoon we took a family bike ride to the park for a picnic, Oliver chose to wear his optimus prime halloween costume along with dinosaur boots.
In the evening we had the Bass family over and celebrated family style.
We had grilled flatbread pizzas from the Priebe book, linguine carbonara, and strawberry agua fresco.
For dessert we enjoyed a chocolate cake from Market Street.
